1. Income from Spanish Sources
You must file if you earn income in Spain such as:
• Rental income from property located in Spain.
• Interest or dividends from Spanish entities (may be subject to withholding).
• Employment income earned for work performed in Spain.
• Director fees from a Spanish company.
• Business activities carried out in Spain.
Note: Even if tax is already withheld at source, a declaration may still be required in some cases (especially for rental income and property sales).
